I want to share our implementation of a custom process mining dashboard focused on approval cycle analytics. Our organization was struggling with slow approval times across multiple business processes, and we needed visibility into where bottlenecks were occurring. We used Creatio 8.3’s process mining capabilities to extract event logs from our approval workflows and built a custom dashboard that tracks cycle times, identifies delays, and highlights SLA violations. The dashboard now provides real-time insights into approval performance across departments, and we’ve already seen a 35% reduction in average cycle time after identifying and addressing the main bottlenecks. The biggest bottleneck was approval queue distribution - certain managers were getting disproportionate approval loads while others had capacity. The dashboard made this visible through workload distribution charts. We also discovered that many approvals were sitting idle because assignees weren’t getting timely notifications. The cycle time analytics showed that actual review time was only 10-15 minutes on average, but total cycle time was 3-4 days due to delays in starting the review.
